How to report a GTA 6 collectible find on the forum

Updated 2026-11-03

Why your reports matter

No collectibles map gets filled in by one small team. GTA VI is a big game, and the fastest way to map it is for players to report what they find. Our forum is where that happens. Moderators confirm forum finds before they become map markers, so a clear report gets a location onto the map sooner.

No account needed

The forum is anonymous. Each browser gets a random nickname, and there's nothing to sign up for. Posts are text only, so you can't attach screenshots. That means your description and your map link have to do the work.

Step by step

1. Pick the right board. Finds go on the Finds board. If you're asking for help rather than reporting, use 100% help. General is for everything else, and Site feedback is for problems with the site itself.

2. Copy a map link. Open the map, go to the exact spot where you found the collectible, and use "copy map link." That gives you a link to the precise location. Paste it at the top of your post. It's the single most useful thing you can include.

3. Name the category. Say which category you think it belongs to, such as hidden packages, graffiti tags or stunt jumps. If you're not sure, say so. mystery items exists for things that don't fit anywhere yet.

4. Describe how to get there. Text only means words matter. Useful details include:

  • whether it's on the ground, on a roof, indoors or underwater
  • the nearest obvious landmark
  • which direction you approached from
  • anything you needed, such as a vehicle, a climb or a particular time of day

5. Mention anything unusual. If the item only appeared after a certain mission, or only at night, say so. That kind of detail is easy to forget and hard for others to work out.

What happens next

A moderator reads your post. If it's specific and holds up, it becomes a marker labelled "reported," which means a player posted it and we haven't checked it ourselves yet. Later, once we've seen it in-game and taken our own screenshot, it moves to "verified."

If a report is too vague to place, it may need more detail before it can go on the map. Your nickname stays the same in that browser, so check back on your thread.

A few ground rules

  • Only post locations you've seen yourself. Rumours belong in General, clearly labelled as rumours.
  • Don't copy text or locations from other sites. Report what you found.
  • Keep story spoilers out of thread titles, so people browsing the board don't run into them.

Before launch

GTA VI releases on 19 November 2026, and there are no locations on the map before then. Until release the Finds board will be quiet, but General is open for theories, and Site feedback is open for anything you'd like the map to do better.
