How to use the GTA 6 collectibles map
Updated 2026-11-02
Start with the layers
The map is split into layers, one per collectible category. Turn on only the layers you're working on and everything else gets out of the way. If you're spending an evening on stunt jumps, there's no reason to have letters and notes cluttering the screen.
A focused map is also a good way to avoid spoilers. Story-related categories can stay hidden until you're ready for them.
Search when you know what you want
Search helps when you already have a name or a category in mind. It's faster than panning around when a friend tells you about a specific find, or when you're hunting for the one marker you skipped earlier.
Marking things as found
Each marker can be set to found or not found. That state is saved in your browser using localStorage, so there's no account and nothing to sign up for.
A few things follow from that:
- Your progress lives on the device and browser you used. Your phone and your laptop won't share it on their own.
- Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, can wipe it.
- Nobody else can see it unless you choose to share it.
If you play on console with the map open on a phone or laptop beside you, pick one device and stick with it for tracking.
Sharing your progress
You can share your progress as a link. Send it to a friend running the same 100% hunt, or post it on the forum when you're asking for help with the last few items in a category. It shows exactly where you stand without typing out a list.
Copy map link
"Copy map link" gives you a link to an exact spot or marker. This is the most useful button on the site when you're talking to other players. Instead of describing "the roof near that gas station, the one by the water," you paste a link that opens the map right where you mean.
Use it in forum posts on the Finds or 100% help boards. Moderators confirm finds before they become markers, and a precise link makes that check much quicker.
Reading the labels
Every marker carries a label:
- Rumoured means unconfirmed.
- Reported means a player posted it and we haven't checked it yet.
- Verified means we saw it in-game ourselves.
If you're short on time, stick to verified markers. If you like helping out, reported markers are where you can check a location and post on the forum to confirm it.
Why the map is empty right now
Rockstar hasn't announced any GTA VI collectibles, and we don't put locations on the map before launch. GTA VI comes out on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Markers will start appearing after that, as finds get reported and verified.
In the meantime, look through all categories and the checklist so you know where things will be once they arrive.
