GTA 6 landmark photos map and checklist
rumoured Not confirmed in GTA VI yet. This page covers what the series suggests and fills in from launch day.
Snapshot collectibles ask you to frame a landmark from the right spot. San Andreas did it with a camera in San Fierro. In a game where the main characters live on their phones, a photo set would fit well, but nobody outside Rockstar knows whether there is one.
Map and checklist open on launch day, 19 November 2026. We only add a location once we've seen it in the game. In the meantime, the map shows Leonida's regions.
What GTA VI has shown so far
- Snapmatic is confirmed as an in-game app.
- Rockstar has named places worth a photo, such as the Effluvia rooftop bar in Downtown Vice City and Mount Kalaga National Park.
In earlier games
- GTA San Andreas had 50 snapshots to take around San Fierro.
- GTA V's phone camera made photography easy but tied it to only a few tasks.
What we expect in GTA VI
If photo spots exist, each marker will show where to stand, not just what to photograph.
Tips
- Report the spot you took a photo from, not the landmark itself, when you post on the forum.
- Right-click (or long-press) the map to copy a link to the exact spot.

How many landmark photos are in GTA 6?
Not known yet. Rockstar hasn't announced a number, and we'll count them ourselves after launch on 19 November 2026.
Are there photo collectibles in GTA 6?
Not confirmed. We'll update this page once we've played.
Does the checklist save my progress?
Yes, in your browser, and it's shared with the map. Use Share progress on the map to get a link with your progress for another device.
