GTA 6 underwater finds map and checklist
rumoured Not confirmed in GTA VI yet. This page covers what the series suggests and fills in from launch day.
Leonida is a coastal state with a chain of keys off its southern tip, so there's a lot of sea to hide things in. GTA V filled its ocean with collectibles you needed a sub or scuba gear to reach. Whether GTA VI does the same is unknown.
Map and checklist open on launch day, 19 November 2026. We only add a location once we've seen it in the game. In the meantime, the map shows Leonida's regions.
What GTA VI has shown so far
- Scuba diving was shown in the August 2026 extended look, so there is a reason to go underwater.
- Jet skis, airboats and kayaks were shown too, along with open-water fishing.
In earlier games
- GTA V had 30 submarine pieces and 30 nuclear waste barrels, all underwater, plus wrecks and hidden packages on the sea floor.
- Most of GTA V's underwater set needed a submersible or scuba gear to collect in reasonable time.
What we expect in GTA VI
If there's an underwater set, the waters around the keys are the obvious place to look. We'll note depth and what vehicle or gear each find needs.
Tips
- Use the map's layer filter to show only this category. Underwater spots are hard to see on a crowded map.
- Each marker's “Needs” line says what gear or vehicle it takes, once we know.
